Job Description:
The Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control & Repair Technician will work collaboratively with staff and contractors to perform the following responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and equipment
Accurately prepare, package, and ship customer orders
Perform quality control testing to ensure product accuracy and functionality
Assist with equipment setup, maintenance
Perform repairs, updates and maintenance on equipment
Maintain organized storage, labeling, and warehouse cleanliness
Track inventory, record shipments, and assist with cycle counts
Support service and technical staff with equipment testing or refurbishment
Communicate with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

Requirements and Skills:
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Technically skilled and comfortable performing tasks such as soldering, software updates, and mainboard replacements as well as working with small parts.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or repair work preferred but not required
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory or shipping systems)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities

Position Details
Position Type: Full-time, exempt
Work Hours : Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with extended hours when busy
Salary :to be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience; estimated range $38,000-$52,000
Time Off : Company-designated holidays plus 40 hours of vacation (prorated for partial years). Vacation must be used by December 31 and will not roll over.
Health Insurance : Offered through US Health Advisors. The company contributes $150/month toward the plan of your choosing (non-transferable benefit).
Retirement Plan : Beginning January 1, 2024, a 401(k) plan with 1.5% employer match .
Work Location : Primarily based at the Winterset office; all necessary tools will be provided.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position. Regular office hours are Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM , with occasional travel and extended hours as needed and for events or trainings.
